SIS Kelapa Gading celebrated United Nations Day on 24th October 2017. It was a memorable and eventful day, preparations for which were underway since quite a long time. The show took place in our Multi-Purpose Hall where parents presented different cultures through colourful dances and traditional musical instruments. Students were awestruck with the colours, costumes and songs by the different parent groups.

This was followed by a grand exhibition from the various primary classes who showcased their respective countries through art and craft, culture, interactive activities and food. Wearing different costumes, the students were enthusiastic in their roles for their country. It was admirable to see mums also involved in the coordination of food.

Each level also prepared their own creative dance which was shown at an intermittent time throughout the school. However, it was our parents whose active involvement and effort made this event an outstanding success. It was their dedication and all out enthusiasm which added the special touch to the day. On the whole, it was the best experiential learning for the whole school.
